Classifications of intelligence agents and their applications

Abstract

Artificial intelligence agent technology occupies an increasingly important place in modern times and finds more and more applications. This article discusses the classification of intelligent agents, based on their level of intelligence and the abilities they have, which are: simple reflex agents, model-based reflex agents, goal-based agents, utility-based agents, and learning agents (utility goal-based learning agents; goal-based learning agents). Many modern applications of intelligent agents and their role in areas such as medicine, training, culture, robotics, and others are considered, which proves the relevance of the task of modeling and researching their behavior and the search for new algorithms and methods to accelerate the learning process and their self-education. The advantages and disadvantages of the types of intelligent agents and some approaches for their improvement are discussed.
